Sing your heart out with junior choir, led by our talented Choir Teacher, Lynn Stevens. Mrs. Stevens is one of the founders of the Sacramento Children’s Chorus which she directed for over 22 years!

Recorder ensemble provides an opportunity for students to apply their previous skills in recorder/flute playing in a more focused group.

• Students can continue playing soprano or learn to play Alto, tenor, or bass depending on the balance of the group and hand size for the larger instruments.

• We will develop our music reading while playing a variety world and of medieval/Renaissance music.

• This class is suitable for those students who hope to transfer into a band program in high school.

• Ms. Mutrux is happy to work with parents of 8th grade students in preparing for transition.

Be a part of the Camellia strings ensemble! Bring your instrument, learn new pieces, and play along.

 

This class provides rigorous musical training that meets all levels within the class. The ensemble members play accompaniments for the Suzuki Folk songs as well as their own orchestra pieces. Instrument rental information can be provided upon request.

 

Requirements: 

• Some previously acquired skill at playing your instrument, AND 

• A willingness to practice 

• Private lessons strongly recommended
