Our community of parents, grandparents, alumni, and friends supports the school in countless ways through fundraising, volunteering, and donating in-kind goods and services. We appreciate everyone’s efforts to give their time and money toward fulfilling our mission to provide a premier education for children from preschool through 8th grade.
People ask why we fundraise. Like most independent, nonprofit schools, the cost of educating a child exceeds what is collected through tuition. At Camellia Waldorf we maintain small class size, which allows teachers to understand the potential capacities of each child. We use high-quality materials and supplies, from nontoxic beeswax crayons to untreated hardwood for arts courses. And our teachers dedicate tremendous time and energy to present a rigorous and rich Waldorf curriculum.
Providing a Camellia Waldorf education is costly. It is also a worthwhile investment.
We invite you to donate now in support of our school’s mission. You can make a one-time donation, a recurring donation, or a pledge that can be paid at a later date. All contributions are tax-deductible for the calendar year in which they are received. Camellia Waldorf School is a private nonprofit organization with 501(c)(3) status.
We extend gratitude to the hundreds of parents, teachers, and friends who have sustained our community since 1989!
