Spanish Teacher – Part Time

Camellia Waldorf School seeks an experienced, enthusiastic Spanish speaker to teach Spanish as a second language to children in first through eighth grade, and to nurture an interest and love of the Hispanic culture. The ideal candidate will have Waldorf training and Waldorf teaching experience. Other qualifications including demonstrated teaching success at the elementary and middle school level will be considered.
Candidates should provide hands-on engaging learning experiences including stories, songs, movements, games, and literature as well as skills in authentic language use in the upper grades. Candidates should have excellent classroom management skills, effective communication, and a desire to work with children having different learning styles and needs. A willingness to work collaboratively, engage in ongoing professional development, and serve in capacities beyond the classroom is also desired.
This position is part-time. Applicants must pass Live Scan checks and have a current TB screening.
