Camellia Waldorf School seeks applicants for our Rising First Grade Class for the 2017-2018 school year.
Our school recently relocated and purchased property in the Pocket area, and is experiencing an especially vibrant time in our development.  Founded in 1989, Camellia Waldorf School is an AWSNA accredited urban school with over 150 students from diverse backgrounds. The Camellia community that surrounds our children includes devotion and support of a strong parent body and Board of Trustees.

We offer Parent Toddler classes, preschool and kindergarten classes, and an elementary and middle school. Our program includes Spanish, Music, Eurythmy, Handwork, Woodworking, Movement and more.   As a school, we are committed to the fullest development of the curriculum, the health of the teachers, the continued study of anthroposophy, and a healthy balanced budget.

Our ideal candidates will have completed their Waldorf teacher training, have successful teaching experience, possess a strong relationship to anthroposophy, and demonstrate a commitment beyond the classroom.  We are looking for teachers committed to working collaboratively with colleagues and our parent community.

Please send a cover letter, work resume, personal biographical statement, and professional references to administrator@camelliawaldorf.org.
