At Camellia Waldorf School, we recognize that young children learn best through imaginative play, explorations in nature, real work, singing, and stories. Our outdoor preschool program:

  • Provides opportunities for children to exercise small and large motor skills.
  • Gives children plenty of time for creative cooperative play to build social skills.
  • Includes storytelling and singing to develop early foundations for literacy.
  • Offers an emotionally secure and predictable environment for your child through a strong daily routine.

The day begins with a morning circle of song, stories and physical activities. The children go on nature walks and take part in practical activities such as chopping vegetables and preparing snacks. In addition, children participate in seasonal crafts, artistic activities, and festivals. Four educational parent meetings will be held during the year.

Wildflower Preschool is an outdoor-based, three-day program that meets on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday mornings from 8:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Nap care is available until 3:00 p.m. Ms. Jennifer Mason is the lead teacher.

All children enrolled in our preschool program must be three years of age by August 31, 2018, and must be fully potty trained. License #343620767.
