Enrollment & Outreach Director 2017-2018

Camellia Waldorf School seeks an experienced, enthusiastic Enrollment and Outreach Director to join our Administrative Team for the 2017-2018 school year.  This position works with faculty, staff and parents to develop and implement a service oriented platform of recruitment, retention, and community outreach.  The Enrollment and Outreach Director is responsible for supporting the growth in all classes including our Parent Toddler Program, Preschool, Elementary and Middle Schools, and helping to ensure a vibrant and stable community of children and families.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in outreach and enrollment as well as experience of working in Waldorf educational settings.  Exceptional relationship skills including grace and attention in listening, understanding, speaking and writing are required.  The ability to handle sensitive, confidential matters with discretion as well as the desire to work both independently and collaboratively is necessary.  Ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously and to meet deadlines as well as knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office and a general desire to engage and grow in the use of technology and social media is desired.

This position is currently a part time position of 20 hours weekly with flexibility of work schedule during the school year and summer.  Compensation is on an hourly basis. Applicants must pass LiveScan checks and have a current TB screening.

Our school recently relocated and purchased property in the Pocket area, and is experiencing an especially vibrant time in our development.  Founded in 1989, Camellia Waldorf School is an AWSNA accredited urban school with over 160 students from diverse backgrounds. The Camellia community that surrounds our children includes devotion and support of a strong parent body and Board of Trustees.

We offer Parent Toddler classes, preschool and kindergarten classes, and an elementary and middle school. Our program includes Spanish, Music, Eurythmy, Handwork, Woodworking, Movement and more.   As a school, we are committed to the fullest development of the curriculum, the health of the teachers, the continued study of anthroposophy, and a healthy balanced budget.
