Sadie Switzer

First & Second Grade Teacher

Ms. Switzer has completed her Waldorf Teacher Training at Rudolf Steiner College as well as Goethean Studies at Emerson College, Consciousness Studies at Rudolf Steiner College, and an Early Childhood Certificate at the College of Marin.

Ms. Switzer spent her childhood in rural Northern California and attended the Marin Waldorf School. Her first teaching experience at The Mulberry Classroom, a school for children with special needs, motivated her interest in Steiner’s lectures on curative education and her desire to care for children from an anthroposophical and therapeutic perspective. Ms. Switzer has spent time abroad in London and India as well as teaching at the Waldorf School of Mendocino, Summerfield Waldorf School and Farm, and the Malamalama Waldorf School. She has most recently been employed as the Kindergarten Teacher and Parent Toddler Teacher at the Rock Rose Village School in Southern California.

Ms. Switzer joined Camellia Waldorf School in 2017.
